This is your DPF warning light…

The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is a component designed to capture and store exhaust soot to help reduce the emissions on Diesel vehicles. Because there is a limit to how much soot can be stored, periodically the DPF has to be ‘Burned off’. This process in known as regeneration.

When this light comes on it can indicate that the DPF is blocked/unable to regenerate on its own OR that there’s a fault within the system.

Sometimes this will cause your vehicle to go into a ‘restricted performance’ or ‘limp home’ mode.
